Having enjoyed many years of working in the Aerospace Industry and working on developing Modelling and simulation tools to assist in the product development cycle, we have gained a wealth of experience in the validation and verification arena.
Modelling and simulation is used as a route to make the product development more streamlined. This enables engineers to try out designs in a simulated environment before moving to hardware, allowing higher risk/higher reward ideas to be explored which would otherwise not be possible. The process can also be made quicker and errors can be identified earlier, reducing costs and improving quality. Automated Testing is also a huge benefit to the design process allowing for a large suite of tests to be developed and used for regression testing and easily expanded as required.
